Spiller is ready to “go off” today

Yes, he injured a shoulder last weekend against the Browns. Sure, it looked bad at the time. Yep, he’s been limited in practice this week. Yeah, Spiller will be the backup to Fred Jackson.

But a source close to Spiller says that Spiller, who entered Week Three as the NFL’s leading rusher, is ready to “go off” seven days after spraining a shoulder.

The Bills will need it, if they hope to send the Patriots to 1-3. And if Spiller hopes to chew into the playing time of starter Fred Jackson.
