Being undefeated has its benefits. Apart from receiving extra praise and/or pastries from family, friends, and fans, more people want to watch the games.

In Atlanta, they are.

According to Tim Tucker of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Falcons have generated a 23.7 rating in Atlanta through five games, up from 19.2 through five games last year. That’s a 23.4-percent increase.

This past weekend, the Redskins-Falcons game generated a 25.4 rating in Atlanta. Compare that to the Braves-Cardinals wild-card game, which generated a mere 9.1.
