In the second half, a long punt return from Josh Cribbs resulted a Phil Dawson field goal, cutting the score to 14-10. Then, an interception of Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton by Browns cornerback Joe Haden became another three-pointer, moving the score to 14-13.
Rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden has settled down after an early interception, and if the Browns can hang around long enough perhaps they can end their franchise-record-tying 11-game losing streak.
