Usually, when the score is 24-0 at halftime, that means the rout is on. For the Broncos tonight in San Diego, it meant it was time to start warming up.

In a disastrous first half, the Broncos fell behind the Chargers 24-0. But everything started going right for Denver in the second half, and the Broncos have made it a game early in the fourth quarter.

Peyton Manning engineered an outstanding eight-play, 85-yard drive to start the first half, a drive that culminated with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas. And when Broncos defensive back Tony Carter picked up a Philip Rivers fumble and raced 65 yards for a touchdown, all of a sudden it was 24-14 in the third quarter.

And then early in the fourth Manning engineered another outstanding drive that ended with another touchdown pass, this time to Eric Decker. It’s now 24-21, and all the momentum belongs to the Broncos.
