In a poll asking NFL players to name their most overrated colleague, Tim Tebow won in a landslide.

Tebow, the Jets’ backup quarterback, was named the most overrated player by 34 percent of the players in a survey conducted by Sports Illustrated.

So who’s the second most overrated player in the NFL? That would be the guy Tebow sits with in the quarterback meeting room every day: Mark Sanchez, who came in second and got 8 percent of the vote.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo also got 8 percent of the vote, followed by Eagles quarterback Michael Vick at 4 percent and Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis at 3 percent.

Surprisingly, both of last season’s Super Bowl quarterbacks, New England’s Tom Brady and the Giants’ Eli Manning, got votes for “most overrated” as well, with Brady garnering 2 percent and Manning 1 percent.

Sports Illustrated asked the same question in a survey of players last year, and Tebow, who was then with the Broncos, also came in first. But last year he only had 22 percent of the vote. So Tebow’s fellow players think he’s only getting more overrated with time.
