For the first time this year, the Steelers won’t have their starting quarterback. For the third time, they’ll have their starting running back.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Steelers running back Isaac Redman said it “looks like” Rashard Mendenhall will start at tailback.

Mendenhall missed the first three games of the season as he continued to recover from a torn ACL. He has missed the last four with an Achilles injury.

They’ll need a healthy and potent running game to counter the absence of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, especially since the Ravens defense ain’t what she used to be.
