Former NFL Films announcer Jeff Kaye dies at 75

Jeff Kaye, a longtime radio DJ and TV broadcaster who served as a narrator for NFL Films, has died of cancer at the age of 75.

A four-time Emmy winner for work on local news, Kaye’s work on Buffalo Bills broadcasts got him the NFL Films job in 1985, shortly after the death of the legendary “Voice of God” John Facenda. Kaye and Harry Kalas shared the primary narrating duties on NFL Films for several years.
