Chicago Bears defensive tackle Matt Toeaina joins quarterback Jay Cutler and defensive end Shea McClellin as players officially ruled out for Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Toeaina was ruled out on Saturday after being unable to practice this week due to a lingering calf injury. Toeaina has appeared in just two games for the Bears this season and recorded just three tackles.

A positive for the Bears will be the return of wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey. Jeffrey has missed the last four games for Chicago after suffering a fractured right hand against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5. Jeffrey was limited in practice on Thursday before fully participating each of the last two days.

Before the injury, Jeffrey had compiled 14 catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears in five games played.

Jason Campbell is expected to start for the Bears in place of Culter with Josh McCown getting backup duties.
