The Browns won’t have their best defensive player today against the Cowboys.

Although cornerback Joe Haden made the trip to Dallas, he was ruled out after pregame warmups today.

Haden suffered an oblique injury during practice on Wednesday, and the Browns said they’d wait until game time to decide if he could go. As it turned out, he can’t.

That means Sheldon Brown and Buster Skrine will start at cornerback for the Browns, and that means Tony Romo, Miles Austin and Dez Bryant should all have big games.
