The name of the quarterback has changed, but the turnovers have continued for the Eagles.

Nick Foles was intercepted on third down of his first drive as a starter, which set the Redskins up in good field position that they used to grab a 7-0 lead. Foles tried a pass to tight end Brent Celek over the middle, but Celek couldn’t catch a ball he should have been able to reel in. It caromed to Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall who returned it to the 9-yard line.

It’s the second interception of the year for Foles and the 11th of the season for the Eagles.

It took two plays for the Redskins to cash in with a six-yard pass from Robert Griffin III to Darrel Young for a touchdown.

UPDATE 1:23 p.m. ET: It happened again. Foles moved the Eagles down the field on the second possession, but got put into a third-and-long thanks to penalties and sailed a pass under pressure that Brandon Meriweather picked off.
