The Steelers wore the 1934 throwbacks Sunday night, but they might need to break out their 2003 unis this week.

With Charlie Batch scheduled to start because of injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich, the Steelers are apparently going to sign Plaxico Burress to go with him.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Steelers were expected to sign Burress after watching him work out earlier today.

Per multiple reports, they’re also signing quarterback Brian Hoyer, to give them another healthy arm on the roster.
