Crennel says Quinn his starter this week

Cincinnati Bengals v Kansas City Chiefs

In a move that should surprise no one and fix nothing, the Chiefs are going to start Brady Quinn at quarterback this week against the Broncos.

Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel announced the move today, via Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star.

This one was pointed Quinn’s direction anyway, after he replaced Matt Cassel at halftime of last week’s loss to the Bengals, a game he didn’t start because he was cleared from a concussion late in the week.

On Monday, Crennel said the Chiefs had to be perfect to beat the Broncos saying: “That’s the only way we have a chance.”

No pressure, Brady.
