Louis Delmas, Jonathan Joseph questionable for Lions-Texans

The Lions and Texans released their injury reports for Thursday’s game on Wednesday and they pretty much line up with what we expected.

Lions tackle Jeff Backus is doubtful to play after missing the entire abbreviated week of practice with a hamstring injury, which means that his remarkable streak of 186 consecutive starts is likely to come to an end. Riley Rieff is expected to start at left tackle in his place. Lions safety Louis Delmas, who has missed the last three games with a knee injury, is questionable after getting back on the practice field for the first time in about a month.

Cornerbacks Drayton Florence and Jacob Lacey join defensive tackles Nick Fairley and Corey Williams as the other questionable members of the Lions. The only player ruled out for the game is wide receiver Titus Young and there isn’t an injury-related reason for his absence.

Texans cornerback Jonathan Joseph is, as expected, a game-time decision for this week after being listed as questionable. Joseph hurt his hamstring last Sunday and the quick turnaround may prove to be too much for him to overcome as he tries to remain in the lineup.

Wide receiver Devier Posey is doubtful for Houston while linebacker Tim Dobbins and running back Ben Tate join Joseph in the questionable column.
