The Buccaneers found themselves with an open roster spot on Monday thanks to cornerback Eric Wright’s suspension and injuries opened up two more of them on Tuesday.

The team announced that safety Cody Grimm and tackle Jeremy Trueblood are headed to injured reserve. Grimm has missed two of the last three games with a hamstring injury and Trueblood injured his shoulder in Sunday’s loss to the Falcons.

Trueblood started the year as the starting right tackle, but was replaced by Demar Dotson after the first game of the season. Grimm has played a reserve role in nine games this season after starting 12 times in his first two years with the team.

Tampa got to work filling the empty roster spots by claiming wide receiver David Gilreath off of waivers from the Steelers. Gilreath, who had one catch in three games, was waived to make room for guard David DeCastro on the active roster in Pittsburgh.
