You can argue that it was a pass that shouldn’t have been thrown, but Ray Rice made the play of the week, thus was given AFC offensive player of the week.

Rice took a check-down pass on fourth-and-29 and somehow converted it, helping to tie the Ravens game at San Diego, which they’d go on to win in overtime.

That wasn’t the only play he made, as he finished with 164 total yards from scrimmage (97 rushing, 67 receiving).

He leads the AFC in yards from scrimmage with 1,198 (794 rushing, 404 receiving) for the 9-2 Ravens.
