Terrell Suggs says he’ll be all right after leaving with arm injury

Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs came off the field during Sunday’s loss to the Steelers holding his arm, making his status a hot topic after the game in Baltimore.

Suggs didn’t speak extensively to the media after the game, but Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that he said he would be “all right” before leaving the locker room. Coach John Harbaugh said there was “no immediate word” about Suggs’ injury.

Despite Suggs’ optimism, Wilson’s colleague Jeff Zrebiec reports that there were a lot of concerned people in the Ravens locker room after the game. Suggs has played in the last six games since returning from his offseason Achilles injury. He hasn’t been quite the same player after such a long layoff, but losing him would be an unquestionable blow to a Ravens defense that had been playing better in recent weeks.

Monday will likely bring updates that will either confirm Suggs’ optimistic take or leave the Ravens with a problem to deal with as they start planning for next week’s game against the Redskins.
