The only bit of suspense left in the Chargers season is whether or not both coach Norv Turner and General Manager A.J. Smith will be fired when the year comes to an end.
Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune wrote Thursday that both men will be sent packing and that the decision to drop the axe has already been made. The Chargers deny that’s the case, but Acee will tell us more about what he’s hearing when he joins Mike Florio on Friday’s PFT Live. Once those two are dealt with, the question will shift to quarterback Philip Rivers’ future and we’ll hear what Acee has to say on that front.
