Bears quarterback Jay Cutler said he got treatment for a sore neck Monday morning, but expects to be ready to practice later this week.

Cutler left yesterday’s loss to the Vikings after taking a hard shot from Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen. He finished the drive but later came out.

Just tight,” Cutler said on his radio show on ESPN 1000. “Got some treatment this morning, so should be ready to go later in the week.”

“It was neck related. I was getting spasms. I wasn’t going to help anybody being out there.”

The Bears need him out there, and need him well if they’re going to keep the Packers from clinching the NFC North Sunday.
