The four players suspended as part of the NFL’s investigation into the Saints’ bounty program had those suspensions vacated by former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue on Tuesday, ending their long fight against the punishment handed down by Tagliabue’s successor Roger Goodell.
Mike Florio will welcome Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune onto PFT Live on Wednesday to discuss the team’s reaction to this development. Quarterback Drew Brees sent a message implying he believes that justice delayed was justice denied for the players in this case and we’ll find out from Triplett if that’s a feeling shared by others on the roster.
