The Cowboys will honor the late Jerry Brown this weekend with a helmet decal.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, each Cowboys player will have a “53” sticker on his helmet to honor the practice squad linebacker who was killed in a car wreck last Saturday.

The team put in a request this week, and the NFL approved it Friday afternoon.

They clearly drew closer together last week in the wake of Brown’s tragic death, and this week’s symbol will keep his memory with them.
