‘Skins hold slim lead at the half

The dream is still alive.

The Redskins have responded from an early deficit in Philly, and they currently are halfway to a sixth straight win. At the half, they lead the Eagles, 13-10.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III, playing two weeks after suffering a Grade 1 sprain to his LCL, has completed eight of 13 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown.

He also has two runs for four total yards.

Ten of the points were the result of Philly turnovers -- a fumble and an interception from quarterback Nick Foles.

If the Redskins win today and at home next week against the Cowboys, they’ll win the NFC East, hosting presumably the No. 5 seed in the first round of the postseason -- and possibly setting up a showdown between two of the top rookie quarterbacks, Griffin and Seattle’s Russell Wilson.
