Torrey Smith will play

Smith

As the Ravens chase their second straight division title, they’ll have one of their best offensive players on the field.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, receiver Torrey Smith has been cleared to play, and he will play, one week after suffering a concussion.

Smith’s status was unclear during the week, which is common for players who hope to return to action one game after sustaining a brain injury. Some will miss a game (or more), while others will be cleared immediately.

For the year, Smith has 44 catches for 760 yards and seven touchdowns. He is the primary deep threat in the team’s passing game.

The Ravens have clinched a playoff berth, despite losing three in a row. But they could still lose the AFC North title, forcing the franchise to hit the road for the postseason.
