During the week, Bills linebacker Bryan Scott said that it would be “easier” to face Mark Sanchez than Greg McElroy because the Bills had more film of Sanchez to study.
Scott’s feelings were proven correct in the first quarter at Buffalo. He stepped in front of an errant Sanchez pass and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown to give the Bills a 7-3 lead. It’s the 51st turnover for Sanchez since the start of last season and keeps him right in the same groove he was in when he turned the ball over five times in the loss to the Titans that temporarily cost him his job two weeks ago.
The Jets drove for a field goal on their first drive by running the ball on nine of their first ten plays. Sanchez threw and interception that was wiped out by a Bills penalty and he threw two interceptions to bring Nick Folk out on the field for three points.
