Chip Kelly’s going to be a busy man.
He’ll coach Oregon in Thursday’s Fiesta Bowl, in what is looking more and more like his final college game.
In addition to a previously reported interview with the Browns Friday, Kelly has also scheduled interviews with the Eagles and Bills already, according to Mike Garafolo of USA Today.
The meetings are expected to happen in Arizona, which is becoming the league’s head coaching headquarters (with teams flying in to interview Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton as well as former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt).
With so many NFL suitors, Kelly is expected by most to make the leap this year, after flirting with the Buccaneers last year.
One thing that will come up in his interviews is how much power he’ll want to wield over the roster.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said earlier Wednesday that Kelly wasn’t insisting on total personnel control as a condition of taking a job.
That’s courteous of him, since he has no NFL background.
