We’re getting closer to the start of the playoffs and Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network has a couple of players from teams playing this weekend lined up for interviews on Thursday’s episode.

Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was involved in the most infamous play of the NFL season -- the “Fail Mary” to beat the Packers -- and then went on to tie Sidney Rice for the team lead in touchdown receptions with seven. Erik Kuselias will ask Tate how Russell Wilson is preparing for his first playoff game and what the Seahawks need to do to leave Washington D.C. as winners.

Texans tackle Duane Brown will also be on hand and we’ll be talking to him about whether the Texans’ sluggish play toward the end of the season will carry over into the postseason. It’s the second trip to the playoffs for Brown and many of his teammates, but quarterback Matt Schaub was hurt last year and we’ll see if Brown thinks he’s ready for the new experience.

Mike Florio, Bob Glauber, Pete Najarian and Ross Tucker will all be on hand to talk about all the news that impacts the games this weekend and news from elsewhere around the league.

It all gets going at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.
