Everything was going smoothly for the Texans in today’s wild-card playoff game against the Bengals. And then one play changed all that.

Texans quarterback Matt Schaub made a bad decision with a throw to fullback James Casey, Bengals cornerback Leon Hall jumped the route, and Hall intercepted the pass and raced 21 yards to the end zone for a touchdown. Cincinnati went up 7-6.

Prior to that, the Texans had been in control: Houston had two long drives that ended in field goals, and Cincinnati had been able to do nothing much offensively.

But if Schaub is going to be giving touchdowns away like he did on the bad pass that Hall picked off, this could be an ugly day in Houston.
