No Nelson, but Finley returns to Packers practice

The Packers don’t have to submit an injury report today, so there’s not much in the way of official comment on any of their injured players.

But reporters there can call the roll.

According to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press Gazette, wide receiver Jordy Nelson did not practice today.

Nelson had a knee problem going into last week’s win over the Vikings, and limped off the field late.

Tight end Jermichael Finley returned to practice Tuesday, as did receiver Jarrett Boykin, who missed last week’s game with an ankle injury.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said yesterday he had no injuries “of a serious nature,” so it might be a little soon for alarm.
