The Indianapolis Colts have announced a change on their coaching staff.

According to a statement released by the team, the Colts and special teams coordinator Marwan Maalouf “have mutually agreed to part ways.”

If that’s true, it may be the first truly mutual breakup in coaching history.

The 36-year-old Maalouf followed head coach Chuck Pagano to Indianapolis from Baltimore, where they had worked together on the Ravens’ staff for four seasons.
