So far, so good for the Falcons.

With everyone expecting the 49ers to roll into the Georgia Dome and get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994, the Falcons are rolling over the 49ers.

It’s 17-0 after one snap in the second quarter.

Matt Ryan has completed 11 of 14 passes for 183 yards and two touchdown. Six of the completions and both touchdowns have gone to receiver Julio Jones, who has 121 yards receiving.

Roddy White has added 49 on three catches, and the Falcons’ defense has forced a pair of three and outs by the 49ers’ offense, punctuating the second drive with a sack of quarterback Colin Kaepernick that twisted and contorted him in a way that surprisingly didn’t injure him.The 49ers have gained minus-two yards, and the Falcons now have 203.

The fact that the Falcons blew a 20-0 first-half lead last week could help them here. White told Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports that the Falcons became too lazy and relaxed against the Seahawks. That surely won’t happen here.
