Bus Cook has another reason to not ask the Seahawks for a new contract for Russell Wilson.

Robert Griffin III, not Wilson, was the rookie quarterback named to the NFC Pro Bowl team. But it’s Wilson, not Griffin, who’ll play in the game.

Griffin is rehabbing a major knee injury suffered in a playoff loss to Wilson’s Seahawks. Wilson is now replacing Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s NFC title game.

Wilson and Griffin are considered to be two of the leading candidates for offensive rookie of the year, along with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.
