The Steelers have another staff opening, after one of their assistants decided to go back to school.

Wide receivers coach Scottie Montgomery left to return to Duke, where he’ll be offensive coordinator, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Montgomery spent the last three years coaching wideouts, after holding the same job at Duke for four years. He played at Duke as well, where he was a two-time team MVP, and now returns as coordinator under coach David Cutcliffe.
