No surgery for Suggs, who opts to rehab torn biceps instead

After getting a second opinion, Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs has apparently decided to not have surgery on his torn right biceps.

According to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun, Suggs has chosen to rehab the injury instead.

Suggs only missed one game after the Dec. 2 injury, but wasn’t much of a factor until the playoffs started. He had two sacks and a forced fumble against the Broncos, though he was again quiet in the Super Bowl.

The 30-year-old Suggs missed the first six games recovering from Achilles surgery, and the fact he doesn’t have to go under the knife this offseason may allow the former NFL defensive player of the year to look like himself again.
