  1. I think the Raiders’ key FA and overlooked FA is Bryant. Everyone else seems replaceable if too costly. Bryant seems like a guy who can be a centerpiece of a good defense, a guy who you can build around.

  2. I would like the raiders to resign wheeler, Adams, Bryant, and Shaughnessy. But obviously money won’t let us. Adams played well down stretch and the rest can be decent players but money has to be right

    raiders need to sign, dez, shaunessy, and meyers for sure. hopefully wheeler, and mitchell and tag lechler
    McKenzie should make every effort to keep Bryant. He’s a fine young tackle. Shaughnessy had a down year, but he is also young, and Oakland doesn’t have much at DE. Myers would be worth keeping if the price is right. Wheeler is decent. Mitchell doesn’t matter, and Lechler is probably gone. I’d like to see Goodson come back, and a couple of those scrub DBs will probably get another shot. Lots of holes, not a lot of cash, but better than last year.

  4. The raiders need to resign Wheeler and Bryant they can be building blocks for the future and since Adams is a restricted FA( i think) we should be able to keep him. But we will let Lechler walk and probably let Brandon Myers test the market. I also would like to see Andre Carter resigned later in the season when he got back into shape he started playing pretty well. The rest are interchangeable parts we can get later on.

  5. Here’s what I see, and I follow this team 24/7…

    It would be good to keep Bryant because he is very underrated, but I think he gets a better deal on the open market. Brandon Myers will get a deal elsewhere, and that’s okay because David Ausberry has the ability to be an explosive playmaker at TE with more experience. Wheeler will walk because of a bigger payday, and because he may not want to be part of a rebuilding project. Mike Mitchell is a wasted 2nd round pick. Lechler will be replaced by Marquette King. If you didn’t watch King in preseason, he showed he could be the next Reggie Roby which is why Oakland stashed him on the practice squad. If Palmer and Heyward-Bey don’t restructure, they could be gone. With Seymour’s contract up, and further pending cuts with Tommy Kelly, Rolando McClain, Tollefson, Breisel, Taiwan Jones, etc., the Raiders’ cap situation won’t be too bad. Remember, you still have Jack Crawford and Christo Bilukidi who are real green and need reps. I say shed the weight, free-up much needed cash, and draft right-especially the D-line and secondary. With some impact players in the draft on defense, and a return to the power run game on offense- I think the team does better than 4 wins this season no matter who is under center. They will stick pick Top 10 in 2014, but I think McKenzie has the organization on the right track.

  6. Wheeler, Shaughnessy and Bryant are the guys we NEED to re-sign… I like Mitchell, but I would rather have the guys I previously listed.

  7. Agree with a lot of the other comments here. Really need to re-sign Bryant and Shaughnessy. I think the Raiders perhaps need to accept that Lechler will be gone, a shame as he is a great punter, but as money is so tight it has to be spent elsewhere.

  8. Bryant and Meyers need to be re-signed…everybody else is replacable..I Rly liked the way jeremey Stewart played too. I dnt see what some people do in ausburry and taiwon Jones, I havnt really seen them take that next step

    No chance Meyers is in Chicago, youll just wait his talent tere anyway.

    Better to ‘wait’ it than ‘waste’ it…And at least our fans will know how to spell the man’s name.

    So tere…(-;

  10. Top priority: Mitchell, Adams, Wheeler, and Bryant. Anyone else would just be a bonus besides Lechler. Cap wise he costs too much and we have a bright young leg in King.
