Eagles add Ed Wang

Wang

The Eagles are stockpiling former fifth-round draft picks.

Earlier this week, it was former Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon, a fifth-round pick of the Steelers in 2008. Now, the Eagles have announced the addition of offensive lineman Ed Wang, a fifth-round pick of the Bills in 2010.

Wang, the first Chinese-American player ever drafted by an NFL team, played in six games as a rookie, and then he spent all of 2011 on injured reserve. Wang signed with the Raiders during the 2012 offseason, but he later was cut.

He could eventually be cut by the Eagles. In the offseason, teams may now have 90 players. By September, that number drops to 53.
