While most of the top quarterbacks in a muddled class will be working out fully next week in Indianapolis, one of them won’t be able to.
According to Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network, Zac Dysert from Miami (Ohio) suffered a slight hamstring tear while training, and will be sidelined three or four weeks.
Dysert’s working out at the IMG Academy in Florida, alongside West Virginia’s Geno Smith and Arkansas’ Tyler Wilson.
Dysert didn’t impress during Senior Bowl week, and figures to fall somewhere in the middle of a quarterback class that it’s hard to glean a consensus on.
He’ll have to rely on his pro day workout in late March to impress scouts, playing from behind a bit since the others are going to be on display next week at the Combine.
