The Bengals’ punter won’t be going anywhere.

Kevin Huber, who has punted for the Bengals since they chose him in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL draft, has signed a new contract to remain with the team.

Happy to announce I will be sticking around cincy for another 5 years,” Huber wrote on Twitter.

A Cincinnati native who went to college at the University of Cincinnati, Huber was believed to have a desire to stick around, so it’s not a big surprise that he didn’t test the free agent market.

Huber was one of only two punters in our Free Agent Hot 100. The top remaining punter available in free agency is Oakland’s Shane Lechler.
