Titans, Saints could be next for Abraham

AP

Former Falcons defensive end John Abraham currently is touring a couple of West Coast teams, the Seahawks and the 49ers.

Next, Abraham will head in the opposition direction.  The potential destinations include either the Titans or the Saints.

The order of the visits isn’t currently known.  The Titans aggressively pursued Abraham last year.

In New Orleans, Abraham possibly would be replacing Will Smith, if Smith opts not to dramatically restructure his contract.

  1. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, hey John? League min to play for New Orleans. A true champion.

  2. Why wouldn’t he? Is he just a born loser like the rest of the FalCants organization?

Saints sure love picking up the falcons’ throwaways

It’s actually the other way around. Look throughout the years. Bobby Hebert, Craig Heyward, Morten Andersen, Joe Horn…

  4. Abraham would be a good ‘get’ wherever he lands.

I think he loves his Falcons too much to go to the Saints–besides the Saints can’t afford him.

He came out of SC so I’ll bet he stays in the southeast and plays for the Titans.
