Steve Tasker’s son enters the draft pool

Tasker

Another father-son NFL combination could be making it to the NFL.

Receiver Luke Tasker, son of former Bills’ special-teams standout Steve Tasker, worked out for scouts on Friday at Cornell’s Pro Day.

According to Gil Brandt of NFL.com, Tasker ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds and 4.63 seconds. Brandt has the rest of the particulars.

Luke Tasker, two inches taller than his five-foot, nine-inch father, didn’t attend the Scouting Combine. Steve Tasker was a ninth-round draft pick in the 1985 draft. After two years with the Oilers, Tasker spent 11 in Buffalo, becoming one of the best special-teams coverage men in NFL history.
