Given their tight salary cap situation which will keep them from being terribly active in free agency, the Redskins are forced to work the fringes of the market.
The latest is veteran offensive tackle Tony Pashos, who they signed today.
The 32-year-old Pashos didn’t play last season, after being released by the Browns in March. He was upset then at being cut after playing through an injury (a ruptured tendon in his foot), which required surgery.
Pashos was a solid blocker when he was well, and might provide an alternative to free agents Jordan Black and Tyler Polumbus.
