Now that the first flurry of big money free agents have signed, and the market is starting to flatten, it’s time to find bargains in veterans who are undervalued.
It’s a Patriots specialty, and they’re meeting with a few. In addition to Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson, they are also going to check out former Falcons defensive end John Abraham Friday, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.
The 34-year-old Abraham is still productive, with 10.0 sacks last year. That marked his seventh double-digit sack season. He has 122.0 sacks in 13 seasons.
While the Falcons monitored his snaps to keep him on the field in obvious pass-rush situations, he continued to produce when he was out there, and will be able to help the Patriots, or any other team interested.
