With the Saints switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4, there’s been much discussion about which of their players fit the new scheme.

One of them won’t have to worry about it.

According to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago, the Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Saints defensive end Turk McBride.

McBride’s a backup, with 9.5 sacks in six NFL seasons with the Saints, Lions and Chiefs. His addition might cast some doubt on the future of unrestricted free agent Israel Idonije, who hasn’t drawn much interest in the market.
