As the Dolphins continue to look for help along both lines, they’re checking out possible additions.
The team announced that Panthers free agent defensive tackle Dwan Edwards visited Friday.
The Panthers had previously offered Edwards a one-year deal, but he was either looking for more money or a team closer to contending.
A late pickup from Buffalo last year, Edwards had a solid 2012 for the Panthers, with 6.0 sacks in 14 games.
The Dolphins need a replacement for Tony McDaniel, who they let want into free agency.
