Vikings new jersey apparently dumps yellow for gold

jersey-close-article

In 20 days, the Vikings will be unveiling new uniforms. Unless someone from Nike leaks them first.

Until then, the Vikings are teasing pieces of the new jerseys that will be worn by the team owned by a guy from, well, New Jersey.

The latest clue, which shows the area below the collar, suggests that the Vikings have traded bright-yellow gold for more-like-gold gold. The purple also looks to be a little darker.

This hint tends to bolster rumors that the Vikings will be adopting a more traditional look, ditching the busy white and yellow and purple quilt that the team first used in 2006.

You can get more clues and hints and teases via the Vikings Uniform Insider program. Or you can wait for the team to unveil the jersey. Or for someone from Nike to leak it.
