The Bears and defensive tackle Andre Fluellen have reached agreement on a one-year contract, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reported on Tuesday.

Fluellen’s agent, Jerrold Colton, also reported the agreement on Twitter.

The 28-year-old Fluellen appeared in five games last season -- two with Miami, then three with Detroit, including the season finale vs. Chicago, a game in which he started and assisted on three tackles.

A third-round pick of the Lions in 2008, Fluellen (6-2, 302) has recorded 52 tackles in 56 career games (six starts). He will likely compete for a reserve role along the interior of the Bears’ defensive line.

The Bears also agreed with reserve defensive end Kyle Moore on Tuesday, PFT reported.
