PFT Live: John Schneider, Tom Curran

Percy Harvin, Pete Carroll, John Schneider

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, left, Percy Harvin and general manager John Schneider address a news conference at the team’s headquarters Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Renton, Wash. The Seahawks completed their trade with Minnesota to acquire the wide receiver in exchange for a trio of draft picks. Seattle announced the finalization of the trade on Tuesday afternoon once the NFL’s league year began. The 24-year-old Harvin will give second-year quarterback Russell Wilson a dynamic playmaker not yet at his peak and reunite him with former teammate Sidney Rice and former offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. PFT Live is usually your spot for an hour of football talk on a daily basis, but we’re shifting gears on Tuesday.

Tom Curran of CSN New England usually joins us to talk about the Patriots, but he will be on hand to talk about the bombings near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday. Curran will give us a sense of what life’s been like in the city over the last 24 hours while the whole nation sends its thoughts and prayers to the victims of the attack.

We’ll switch things back to football for a conversation with Seahawks General Manager John Schneider. Schneider will talk to Florio about the trade for wide receiver Percy Harvin and the decision to sign defensive ends Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett as free agents. It hasn’t all been about addition for the Seahawks, though. They traded away quarterback Matt Flynn, replacing him with Brady Quinn and we’ll get the lowdown on that decision as well from Schneider on Sunday.

Florio will also reveal picks 5-8 of the PFT Live mock draft before the hour is through.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.
