The Steelers apparently viewed their running game as a weakness, and are intent on fixing it.
With the 49th overall pick, the Steelers chose Michigan State running back Le’Veon Bell.
They agreed to a deal with return man/special teamer La’Rod Stephens-Howling earlier in the day, and had interest previously in Ahmad Bradshaw.
But with Bell, who gained 1,793 yards on the ground for the Spartans last year, that’s probably not in the cards any longer.
