The Seattle Seahawks have a mobile starting quarterback who runs the read-option offense. So they could use a backup who does the same thing, right?
Not so, according to G.M. John Schneider. Asked by 710 ESPN in Seattle whether the team would be interested in adding Tebow to the quarterback depth chart, Schneider was unequivocal.
“Uh, no,” Schneider said, via Brady Henderson of 710Sports.com.
The Seahawks are one of several teams who already have made clear their lack of interest in the former Heisman winner. Still, all it takes is one NFL team to want him.
If he’s willing to abandon the quarterback position, his best bet could be the Patriots.
