PFT Live: Chiefs talk with Adam Teicher, Raiders talk with Paul Gutierrez

It’s AFC West day on PFT Live.

Well, half the AFC West day anyway. Mike Florio will welcome Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star as a guest on Thursday to check in on how Andy Reid’s first offseason as Chiefs coach is progressing. The team swung a trade for fullback Anthony Sherman on Wednesday while also reportedly switching gears away from a trade of tackle Branden Albert. We’ll find out if that’s the case and what else might be up their sleeves with rookie minicamp starting soon.

Paul Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area will also be stopping by the program to catch us up on what’s going on with the Raiders. Oakland added cornerback D.J. Hayden in the first round last week, continuing an overhaul of their rancid 2012 defense, and then went on to pick up nine more players over the remaining six rounds. We’ll hear which of those players will be asked to make an immediate impact and what else the Raiders need to do to get ready for the 2013 season.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

  1. Does that Suberbowl loss still sting, because dude you come off as being bitter, but hey man look on the bright side you guys won it all in 69 so good for you, but remember to be thankful that we did’nt take your prize pig we could have picked Floyd but did’nt so your welcome. And by the way your knowledge about football is lacking,we had a solid draft 2 years in a row, from last years draft 5 out of 6 made the roster the other plays for the 49ers now. Bottom line as a life long raider fan this is the first time since i was a kid that we are building the right way and drafting well. were on our way back and maybe when we get there you guys will be good enough to make it to the playoffs and make noise in them but probably not
your history says otherwise. the purple people eaters are no more and picking 3 times in the first
round is not a playoff win so deal with it
    raider nation out

  2. leave it to a viking fan to pop off of all teams….
there are reasons why Floyd was the 3rd DT taken, (and why we passed on him) Rhodes was the 6th person in the defensive backfield taken, and your wideout was the third taken, I mean even a TE went before him.
Sorry if your butt still hurts there purple pride.

    GO RAIDERS- love the hate!

  3. The Vikings “won it all” in ’69? They’ve been to the Superbowl 4 times and lost all of them by a combined score of 95-34. I guess they figured out the perfect way to never lose again. Just don’t go again. Their last visit was the Raiders’ 1st visit, 36 years ago.

The Raiders draft this year has gotten “draft grades” of A’s and B’s in all the rankings I’ve seen.
