Veteran linebacker Karlos Dansby was back in familiar surroundings on Wednesday when he paid a visit to the Cardinals as part of his quest for a job after getting released by the Dolphins.

Dansby told John Gambadoro of KTAR that he had a “good meeting” with Arizona, but that no contract was discussed before he left the team’s facility. Dansby also said that “it would be good” to finish with the team that originally drafted him in the second round out of Auburn.

The Cardinals aren’t the only team giving some attention to Dansby, though. Dansby dropped the Falcons, Texans and Jets as other teams that have expressed interest in talking to him. He’s also visited with the Bengals and Bills this offseason, although the Bengals seem like an unlikely landing spot after signing James Harrison while the Bills drafted Kiko Alonso in the second round.

Keeping as many teams as possible in the mix would seem to be the best route for Dansby to land the biggest possible contract. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Dansby has “been a little picky” in contract talks, which sounds like a way of saying that Dansby’s trying to do just that.
