The Redskins didn’t have a first-round pick this year, so none of their contract negotiations should be worrisome at all.

Two of them are already taken care of, with fifth-rounder Brandon Jenkins and safety Bacarri Rambo signing their rookie deals today, the team announced

The team still has five picks to sign, but plenty of time to get that done.

Jenkins is an intriguing prospect, after a Lisfranc injury kept him off the field for most of his senior season. Prior to that, he was a promising pass-rusher (22.5 sacks in 40 games at Florida State), and has the time to develop since the Redskins are solid with starters at outside linebacker.
